I chant myself, I sing
My glory, existing
My belly mimicking
The arc of Earth’s curving
Impertinently wry
No slender nymphet I
My breasts could resupply
The Milky Way on high
I am a shaman’s prayer
The glory that I bear
All others may despair
When I unbind my hair
The swinging of my hips
The parting of my lips
My thighs alone eclipse
All the old written scripts
And piercing with a glance
My eyes alone entrance
The sleepwalkers to dance
And reinvent romance
I chant myself, I soar
I’m by myself adored
They call me goddess-whore
I’m woman evermore
